HPInkAdvantage And We

HP Print Art IndiBlogger Meet -- Never attended such a colorful meet -- special "Rainbow Hues" for our group as we got the theme -- Rainbow -- Yes, we were "The Crafty Hands" as part of an art activity.

This was my second IndiBlogger Meet and I was delighted. Interactive sessions livened up the atmosphere. These meets are good sources of transforming the virtual friendship into real life acquaintance.
This meet was a step ahead, as one got to meet the family members of the bloggers too. Many young kids got prizes for -- being the youngest, being immediate kin of a blogger and the naughtiest one too. "Crazy Blogger" was another category in which the blogger got the prize after proving that he/she was the craziest of them all.

We went back in time with the nursery rhyme -- Old MacDonald Had A Farm -- reliving happy moments from our childhood. And guess what?  We end up making a farm of our own -- different from the conventional farm -- Our farm had Boo Boo Zebras, Roary Lions, Mute Mode Chickens and Bow Bow Puppies.

There was also Guess The Number, Take The Prize 1-11. It pays to be a kid I tell ya... Two of them were lucky enough to bag 500 bucks each.

There was the ritualistic "30 Seconds Of Fame" too not to miss that out.

As the meet was organised by HP to promote their color printers, they had set up an art assignment to decorate tables for themed birthday bashes. The whole gathering was divided into six groups of fifteen, a team name and a project manager were chosen, a theme was given -- half an hour gone by -- and there stood the winners.

It was a fun activity for kids as well as for those young at heart  as "Creativity" was the keyword.
The Meet concluded successfully with Joyous Moments Over High Tea.

Rightly said by Thomas Merton -- " Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time " .

Looking forward to such "Technology for the Family" Meets in the coming future soon too.
