An occasion to witness for real, the age-old adage that 'Diamonds are a Girl's best friend', with the launch of an ambitious venture by two talented ladies - Velvet Box By Aarty And Pooja.

I made a beeline for Radisson this weekend for my tryst with exquisite pieces of jewelry and was among the first ones to reach the venue.

An elaborate collection of the finest creations from the house of Velvet Box was exhibited at the much awaited launch. I found most of the collection on display to be high on elegance and sophistication, whilst focusing on the intricate details of craftsmanship.

A certain subtlety, yet versatility was visible outwardly and Aarty was quick to remark that Velvet Box, as a brand, had symbolized designs that would resonate with the modern Indian women. According to her, Velvet Box has attempted to create a new dimension for artistic and aesthetic jewelry.

Pooja, on the other hand, believed that their jewelry epitomized a perfect blend of classic, majestic designs with a modern soul, meant to represent the Woman of today's era.

We also had some soft melodies rendered by a talented band until Karishma reached the venue in order to officially launch the brand.

She took to conveying her regards to both the ladies and expressed her views towards Velvet Box as thus: 

"I am honored to be part of such a great launch. These two young ladies, Aarty and Pooja have come up with such a brilliant brand which simplifies such beautiful designs." 

She went on to add that she was wearing some of Velvet Box's exquisite creations and wished luck to both the ladies for their venture.

There was also a Winner among us, as a result of a raffle, wherein Karishma had to draw the lots.

Though Velvet Box is limited by a small number of customers at the moment, I'm sure their clientele is bound to grow leaps and bounds post this launch. The launch of a boutique is on the cards, gradually, after all.
