Chatting Up With Good Food At Phonebooth...

Phonebooth Café Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Phonebooth Cafe, as the name suggest emulates the life and times of England through its feel-good vibes and amazing food. It is one of Hudson Lane's iconic cafes that attracts a lot of college-goers owing to its proximity to Yellow Line of Delhi Metro.

There's a makeshift iconic red phone booth installed right outside the outlet to emulate an English vibe.

The menu is designed in the form of a directory, and there's a picturesque wall painted to depict rain in England, and it gives an amazing depth effect.

My visit to Phonebooth Cafe came about as a consequence of recommendation by friends.

Prompt service and pocket-friendliness are two factors that make Phonebooth so popular among students and families alike.

Here are some of the items that we tried from their otherwise expansive menu.

Appetizers:

Chinese Chaat is an in-house specialty consisting of Momos, Chili Chicken, veggies, and crispy noodles.

Dragon's Kiss Pizza consisted of bell peppers, jalapenos, and chicken chunks.

Makhani Chicken Tikka Naanza was a fusion of Indian and Italian concepts, with Pizza being served in the form of a Naan.

Kebab Platter was an assortment of Tikkas from the Indian section.

Beverages:

Shakes, which were presented with sprinkles on whipped cream, and a Little Hearts on top.

Oreo Shake

Red Velvet Shake

Blueberry Shake

Mocktails:

Paan Mojito

PBC Special Mint Lemonade

Main Course:

Veg Stroganoff was an assortment of veggies rendered in cream and served along with herbed rice.

Grilled Cottage Cheese Steak was served alongside English veggies and mashed potatoes.

Dessert:

Dark Chocolate Brownie Sundae is PBC's in-house special and I could see why it was so.

All in all, PBC comes across as a delightful stopover for delicious dishes that come at pocket-friendly prices and is a perfect place for that chilled-out evening spent with friends over good food and some banter. :)
