No Kidding At Excuse Me Boss!

Excuse Me Boss Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Earlier last month, I was invited by Excuse Me Boss for a food tasting. For the uninitiated, this place has replaced an iconic outlet that was The Chinese in F Block, Middle Circle. Not being a huge fan of such nightlife oriented places, the teetotaler I was a bit skeptical of paying these folks a visit.

However, I was proved wrong in the most pleasant manner by the most hospitable gentleman that is the Manager at EMB, Mr. Deepak Arora who inquired if I was comfortable on first setting foot inside the outlet for dinner. One reply in the negative was enough for him to lead me to one of the two VIP lounges meant for either patrons seeking some private space or EMB's regular visitors. And, I must complement the way the interiors of the lounge were done.

The place, though dimly lit, is essentially modeled for fun-loving youth, however, the management knows the art of bespoke hospitality i.e. reckoning the aura and preferences of a patron and catering to them accordingly.

Chef's choicest selections and some of the popular dishes at Excuse Me Boss were presented, the non-vegetarian preparations being greater in number than the vegetarian ones. All dishes were aesthetically presented and scored high on the taste factor.

Here's a low-down on what all was savored at the tasting.

Appetizers:

Chilly Chicken Dry, true to its nomenclature was an overload of chilies and chewy chunks of chicken.

Prawn Cigar Rolls, the name itself was enough to prompt me to try this one. Innovating with baby prawns by stuffing them into classic cigar rolls.

Mutton Galouti was presented as atop heart-shaped Rotis, just because it was past Valentine's Day that I had visited this place.

Chicken Tangri was grilled to perfection.

Poached Fish was served layered with butter garlic sauce, accompanied by stir-fried veggies in a crispy basket.

Golden Fried Prawns were aesthetic placed inside a footlong.

Mocktails:

Watermelon Charger

Green Apple Virgin Mojito

Summer Twist

Main Course:

Mutton Shahi Korma

Dal Makhani

Dry Pot Chicken

Steamed Rice

Assorted Indian Breads

Dessert:

Brazilian Nut, which is (heart-shaped, because V-Day) brownies served with Ice cream topped with Chocolate Syrup

Gulab Jamun was the usual sweet, warm, and right kind of soft.

I absolutely loved my time at Excuse Me Boss, all thanks to unmatched hospitality coming from Mr. Arora and his attentive staff. I would recommend a visit to this place for anyone looking for fabulous food, good music in the background, and unparalleled pleasantries.
