LIFE.
A four letter word which has innumerable connotations.
A word which brims with liveliness.
A word which brims with hope.
A word which brims with optimism.

It is this life which presents us with the myriad hues of the rainbow, and sometimes the pot of gold at the end of it too. :)
It is this life which is unique in gathering together moments.
It is this life which is constituted of turning points.

Turning points which may be pleasant.
Turning points which may not be so pleasant.
It is these turning points which lend a direction to our existence.
It is these turning points which transform a mere existence to a life worth living.
For, the thorn is an indispensable part of the rose.
For, the clouds are an indispensable figment of the clear blue sky.

Life is a bouquet of moments.
Life provides us with endless opportunities.
~~~
Such opportunities knock on our door often.
Such opportunities are to be grabbed whenever they present themselves before us.

Opportunities like these prompt us to #StartANewLife.
Opportunities like these prompt us to put our confidence, courage, optimism and presence of mind to the test.

Such opportunities are aplenty.
Remember the time when you were born?
That was an opportunity for your parents.
An opportunity to provide you with all that you needed, to care for you, to love you to their heart's content and to nurture you.

Remember the time when you stood on the threshold of leaving home for school?
That was an opportunity for you to embrace a better 'You' for the time to come.

Remember the time when you bruised yourself in front of your schoolmates, during playtime?
That was an opportunity for you to learn, to fight your pain, and to combat your embarrassment.
For it was perfectly alright for a crawling toddler to trip over their knees, when taking baby steps.
So was it for you, who was new to the ideologies of team - work, group activities and play.

One such moment in my life, my moment to #StartANewLife in the literal terms, was when I was to marry.
For every girl, it isn't easy to leave behind her abode, her parents and her siblings.
For every girl, it isn't easy to embrace all her relationships at once, condensed into an invitation card.
My story wasn't different.
It wasn't different at that time because what life was going to present to me afterwards was going to be different.

That turning point.
That bold step for me was to leave my loved ones behind.
That new individual.
That new individual, who emerged from there, had matured.
She had grown mature enough to embrace matrimonial vows, but on the inside, she was as immature as the five-year-old persuading her father for a cotton candy with hues of pink. :)
That time.
That was the time when I went ahead.
I went ahead to #StartANewLife.
I am glad I did.
There's been no looking back, ever since! :)
