'Bliss In Every Single Bite' At Mr. Brown...

When it comes to desserts, I do not have much of a sweet tooth. Rather, I am quite selective about my confectionaries. This time, however, an invite was extended to me by a certain Mr. Brown, which is a gourmet family-owned pastry shop that started in the heart of Lucknow and has now extended its wings to Kanpur and Delhi also.

This chain of pastry shops is confined to East Delhi as of now, and their newest outlet has set its base in Indirapuram. It is the outlet to which I was invited, to savor their delectable creations that cater to the contemporary palette with a classic touch to their modern flavors.

The outlet is quite spacious and tastefully done with different sections for their Bread, Cookies, Gourmet Chocolates, Aesthetic Cakes and Savories on display. The sheer variety is overwhelming. Patrons have a choice of either indoor or outdoor seating - with the outdoor one serving as the perfect choice for basking in the winter sun in the nippy chill.

Frankly speaking, I have become their absolute fan, after trying their fare for the first time, in which I could not point a single flaw in any of their preparations. The freshness of ingredients, careful and flavorful preparations, attentiveness of staff, and a lively atmosphere make Mr. Brown stand out as a brand. Add to it, their economically priced specialties and you would be good to go.

Also, they had a separate Appreciation Wall comprising of post-it(s) proclaiming the mutual admiration towards Mr. Brown shared by many of their patrons, including me, after this visit. :)

To add to it was also a digital display of their personalized, made-to-order cakes that patrons could place an order for to celebrate memorable life occasions.

Their tagline 'Bliss In Every Single Bite' suits them perfect and describes their attention to detail suitably.

I would urge Mr. Brown to move closer to my place, and I would vouch for their quality and be their regular patron for sure. Best wishes to Mr. Brown for another success story with their newest outlet. :)

Of The #Hextraordinary With Tata's #HexaExperience...

A new definition of lifestyle has been introduced by Tata Motors at their ‘Hexa Experience Centre’. The new-age lifestyle SUV Tata Hexa is the embodiment of opulence. It was a fabulous #HexaExperience while test driving the brand new Hexa at EO HUDA Gurgaon II, Sector 29, Gurugram on November 26. The three-day mega event spanning November 25-27 was all about experiencing the much-awaited Tata Hexa first-hand and meeting the teams behind this superb creation.

In fact, the on-road and off-road experiences were more than enough to provide an adrenaline rush. In addition, the off-road experience gave a taste of the various tough conditions that the Hexa could face with aplomb, while the on-road one was #Hextraordinary and beyond imagination. While the official launch of Tata Hexa is slated for January 2017, people were excited to go ahead and do an advance booking during this three-day bonanza.

The Hexa Experience Centre has been designed in a very professional manner for prospective customers to gain a first-hand experience of the powerful and beautiful Tata Hexa. Heaps of entertainment was on offer in the lounge area. A separate dining area was arranged for, to satisfy one’s appetite during the day, because once an individual has entered, it is difficult to leave the place without getting the complete picture on Tata Hexa. Also, there were other Tata brands showcasing their products at various stalls within the huge setup.

While driving, we had full liberty to make the Hexa reach its limits. That is what, in fact, I call as a fulfilling #HexaExperience. In addition, there was a special kids’ zone that was engaging enough for kids and their parents. A pet adoption zone also was there where you could play with pets, take them for a round donate for their cause, and adopt one if you wished to.

This centre was the first Hexa Experience Center at EO HUDA Gurgaon II, Sector 29, Gurugram. The event was a grand success. Similar setups are under progress in various cities viz. Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. I feel this is a wonderful concept as far as Tata loyalists, customers, and automobile enthusiasts are concerned.

The off-road experience needs a special mention here because in real life we might not face all such scenarios as bumpy tracks, ramps, and rails but experiencing them and Hexa’s response to them gave a unique feeling and great fulfilment. We experienced inclines, twisters, rumbles, slopes, mud, and a lot more. It was the sheer power of this sturdy vehicle that was showcased untiringly.

Tata Hexa clearly embodies a superior class of power, design and technology. It is a symbol of dynamism and modernity.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I am feeling #Hextraordinary after this #HexaExperience. Best wishes to Tata Hexa for outperforming its contemporaries in the Indian market in 2017.

#Unlocking18Plus With A Gala Celebration...

18+ Cafe and Lounge is the newest addition to the food and fun scene in Noida. Located right next to Theos, this one is going to be a crowd-puller and I can say so because I was one of the first few Bloggers to witness the launch of this nicely done place.

The decor and ambience reflect a collector's delight with an array of vintage bikes adorning the premises and a life-size bicycle being hosted on one of the walls. 18+ is essentially a place with a quirk 'n' pop vibe, with good food being their USP. It is a place that would appeal highly to the youngsters - especially with their quick bites and Hookahs. 

Located in the basement just below Chawlas2 (which is also set to open soon), the food that 18+ presents is comfort food in the most pleasant sense, with the simplicity in its presentation and a feel-good factor associated with the food.

The outlet was well-lit and was decked with balloons, completely in Party Mode for the launch. We had a Special Menu offered to us at the Launch and out of a considerable number of items, I tried the following:

• Mrs Chawla's Tray could easily form for a complete meal while reminding you of your mother's Sunday breakfast. Who would decline such an aesthetic and flavorful platter, I ask? It comprised portions of the following items: 

                               Aaloo and Mix Paranthe
                               Chole
                               Samose
                               Karare Aaloo
                               Aam Ka Achaar
                               Lassi
                               Gulab Jamun 

• Chicken Kali Mirch Tikka - Chicken and Black Pepper is one classic combination and 18+ plays this right.

• Aglio - Olio Spaghetti 

Their shakes, mocktails, dessert however, take the cake. Both Banana Nutella Shake and Green Apple Rush were on a different level altogether, while Classic Cold Coffee and Masala Chai had the much-loved old-school flavors.

The Banoffee Ball was presented quite nicely, and do let me know if you know what can beat the fantastic Banana and Toffee combination. As I went around #Unlocking18Plus, this is my must-try item at 18+.

And, it was not just the nice food that scored but also the unmatched hospitality that left a lasting positive impression. With the element of interactive fun and games thrown in, the launch was made more happening. After all, #18PlusIsFun, and Yours Truly won a hamper from Dineout in the fun too! :)

After a gala time with good food and good company, food bloggers brought the launch of #18PlusCafeAndLounge to a close taking home a hamper of foodie goodness thanks to Tops too. :)
